I found one presentation particularly impactful. Shanelle Gabriel, a talented poet and performer who is battling lupus (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease) spoke of her battles with the condition and the help and support she received from advanced medical therapies. It brought personal meaning to me of the BioNJ tagline set forth above.
