About

Philip P. Crowley

I’m an attorney who has been handling legal matters for pharmaceutical, biomedical, medical device, information technology, and other technology companies for over 30 years. I’ve also spent nearly 25 years on the Board of Trustees of the Stevens Institute of Technology, with substantial involvement in the oversight of academic innovation and entrepreneurship. My practice is dedicated to helping life sciences and other technology companies reach for the next level of success.

Before becoming an attorney, I was a physicist, trained at both the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, and Harvard University, and spent 32 years helping Johnson & Johnson life sciences companies grow and develop. During this time, it was my pleasure to help innovators bring their health care and personal care products to the market. I also gained the insights needed to understand the unique challenges faced by innovators wanting to use their great ideas to help cure disease, relieve suffering, and improve quality of life.

I have a great respect for the power of science and technology to do good, and I will work with you to provide guidance and support in key areas of the life sciences and technology businesses, from entity formation to licensing, financing, employment issues, R&D, and more. I also can support your fundraising and product launch activities as well as programs to comply with applicable laws and professional and industry codes of conduct.

Whether formatting transactions to minimize risk, taking the necessary steps to protect your intellectual property, or resolving labor disputes, my primary goal is helping you realize your business objectives.
